Meet Hayley Peck
Clinical Hypnotherapist & Strategic Psychotherapist
Hayley Peck is a Certified Clinical Hypnotherapist and Strategic Psychotherapist consulting from Beingwell Clinic in Highett and South Yarra, Melbourne. She has spent many years supporting people to improve their health and wellbeing and is passionate about helping clients create meaningful.
Her career in holistic health began in 2006, when she travelled overseas to deliver health education workshops in rural communities. A year later, she established her own massage therapy practice, supporting clients to manage stress, reduce pain and restore balance. Hayley is also a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher with additional training in meditation and pranayama (therapeutic breathing techniques)
Hayley has worked extensively in the community health sector, leading health and wellbeing programs and supporting individuals, families and communities through periods of challenge and change. This diverse experience has shaped her warm, person-centred approach and deep understanding that every person's story is unique.
Hayley's introduction to hypnosis came in 2015 during her first pregnancy, when she trained in HypnoBirthing®. Experiencing the benefits of hypnosis firsthand was a pivotal moment, revealing the remarkable influence of the subconscious mind and its role in shaping our thoughts, emotions, behaviours and physical wellbeing. Inspired by this experience, she went on to complete formal training in Clinical Hypnotherapy and Strategic Psychotherapy.
Today, Hayley integrates evidence-informed approaches including Strategic Psychotherapy, Clinical Hypnotherapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), tailoring each treatment plan to the individual sitting in front of her. She has undertaken additional training in Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy and has a special interest in supporting clients experiencing anxiety, stress, sleep difficulties, fears and phobias, and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS).
Whether you're navigating a difficult chapter, feeling stuck in unhelpful patterns, or simply looking to reconnect with a greater sense of calm and confidence, Hayley is here to walk alongside you with curiosity, compassion and practical support.

How we work together
At Flow Hypnotherapy sessions are collaborative and focused on creating meaningful change in a shorter timeframe. Hayley's approach blends Clinical Hypnotherapy with Strategic Psychotherapy, a modern, evidence-based approach inspired by the work of Milton Erickson and Jay Haley. This approach explores the thought patterns and underlying beliefs that may be maintaining the issue you’re facing. By identifying and shifting these patterns, meaningful and lasting change becomes possible. This approach is solution focused and highly effective.
Where appropriate Hayley weaves in gentle breathwork and yoga-informed practices which offer clients a blend of top-down and bottom-up therapeutic approaches. This integrated method supports the mind and body together, promoting deeper, more holistic wellbeing.
Hayley is committed to working alongside you and supporting you to shift unhelpful patterns, and move toward the life you want to live.
One belief, one breath, one breakthrough at a time!
Beyond the practice
Outside of Flow Hypnotherapy Hayley is a proud mum to two beautiful daughters (and a much-loved fur baby who keeps the family entertained). Hayley is a coffee enthusiast who rarely starts the day without a coffee in hand. She feels most at peace when she is surrounded by nature in quiet outdoor moments - whether it's a quiet walk along her local beach or time spent in the garden.
Hayley is a lifelong learner, always diving into new studies in psychotherapy, trauma informed practices and neuroscience to deepen her understanding of the mind and human experience.
As a 500-hour Certified Yoga Teacher, the practice continues to be a grounding influence in Hayley's personal life and professional practice.
Hayley believes in balance - embracing the ups and downs of life and knowing it's perfectly okay not to feel happy all the time. Creating space for authenticity, connection, and self-compassion is important to Hayley and she is passionate about sharing this approach with the people she works with.

A therapeutic approach
The Flow Hypnotherapy philosophy is rooted in empathy, empowerment, and collaboration. Hayley prioritizes building a trusting and supportive relationship with clients, tailoring her approach to the unique needs and goals of the individual. By integrating hypnotherapy, strategic psychotherapy and breathwork, sessions honor the mind-body connection and aim to address the whole person fostering lasting transformation.
Strategic Psychotherapy is different from other forms of therapy which might focus on unpacking past issues and root causes. In strategic psychotherapy we are more interested in exploring what thought patterns and internal beliefs you might have that could be causing the challenge/issue you are facing and keeping that issue at play. Hayley specialises in Gut-Directed Hypnotherapy for IBS and she integrates CBT and ACT techniques into her practice.
With a compassionate and evidence-based approach, Hayley supports you to tap into your inner resources, unlocking positive change for a more fulfilling and balanced life.
